Intermediates

**Please note that sessions will NOT run during the October and February school holidays**

Secondary 1 & 2  Age Group (Intermediates)

We have decided to develop the talent of those players in school years Secondary 1 & 2 in our Intermediates section. We recognise that this age group has a great deal of enthusiasm for hockey and we want to build on this and help to maintain it through to full participation in “senior” hockey. We also recognise that this age group has a number of competing demands on their time and are likely to be committed to playing hockey on a Saturday morning as well as potentially other sporting commitments. We have therefore decided not to include this age group in our “senior” set up.  However, the GHK Hockey Club Committee also recognise the depth of talent and enthusiasm within the S2 group of female players and later in the season there may be opportunities to play with GHK 4th XI team.

Training for Inters will remain on a Thursday from 5.30-7pm.
The training will be structured in to three ability led groups to allow development of all the players.
